Edistystä Some progress

Olen tehnyt muutamia uusia tavaroita vanhempien makuuhuoneeseen. Vaihdoin myös matot. Ne ovat nyt paremmat kuin aikaisemmat,mutta eivät täydelliset. Aion kirjoa tai ostaa uudet matot myöhemmin. Ruskea väri näyttää kyllä hyvältä täällä.

I have made some small things to the master bedroom. I changed the rugs, too. They are better than the former ones, but not perfect. I am going to make or buy later new ones. The brown colour is nice here.

Sivupöydällä on kaksi uutta tavar aa: toimimaton pöytälamppu ja pieni metallinen rasia.

 

There are two new things on the sidetable: a non-working table lamp and a small metal box.

Tein myöskin vaalean punaiset tohvelit talon emännälle.

I made also a pair of pink slippers for the lady of the house.

 

Olen tapetoinut myös makuuhuoneen vieressä olevan kapean huoneen. Se on pukeutumishuone. Tein sinne myös kustavilaistyylisen vaatekaapin ja istuimen. Aion tehdä myös peilin ja konsolipöydän istuinta vastapäätä.

I have also wallpapered the narrow room next to the bedroom. It is a dressing room. I also made a Gustavian-style wardrobe and seat there. I will also make a mirror and a console table opposite the seat.

 

Vaatekaappi on tapetoitu samalla tapetilla kuin mitä on seinissä.

 The wardrobe is wallpapered with the same wallpaper as what is on the walls.

Tekemäni istuin  on myös kustavilaistyylinen eli 1700-luvulta. Istuin näyttää kuluneelta.

 The seat I made is also Gustavian style, i.e. from the 18th century. The seat looks pretty worn.

Uusi projekti A new project

 

 

Olen aloittanut uuden projektin. Nimittäin kokonaan uuden talon sisustamisen. ( Aion tehdä muutoksia talon rakenteisiin, mutta en ole vielä varma miten niitä teen, joten näytän talon myöhemmin teille.)

 

Aloitin vanhempien makuuhuoneesta. Se sijaisee uuden nukkekodin ullakolla, toisessa päässä taloa. Huone on kooltaan pieni, mutta sinne mahtuu hyvin parisänky, yöpöydät, äidin kampauspöytä, pieni sivupöytä ja pari jakkaraa.

Sisustus tulee olemaan pääosin vintage-tyylinen.Toki mukana tulee olemaan nykyaikaisiakin tavaroita.Olen tehnyt kaikki tämän huoneen huonekalut ja tavarat itse.

 

I have started a new project. It is a new house and I am going to  furnish and decorate it.( I am going to make some modifications to structures, but I am not sure of how to do them. So I show the house later to you.)

 

I started from the parents' bedroom. It is located in the attic of a new dollhouse, at one end of the house. The room is small in size, but it can accommodate a double bed, bedside tables, mother's dressing table, small side table and a couple of stools.  

The interior will be mostly vintage style. Of course, there will also be modern goods. I have made all the furniture and goods for this room myself.  

 

Äidin kampauspöytä on isosta nukkekodistani ja se sopii tänne paremmin kuin sinne.

Mother´s dressing table is from my big dollhouse but it fits better here than there.

Pieni sivupöytä on kooltaan juuri sopivan kokoinen tähän kohtaan.  Matto tulee vaihtumaan sitten, kun saan kirjottua uuden romanttisemman maton tähän.

The small side table is just the right size for this point. The rug will change when I get embroidered with a new, more romantic rug for this.
